The hand-polished, painted, and glued map has a hole for hanging on the wall. The water layers are coated with non-toxic acrylic paint, which is also waterproof. Simply wipe the entire map occasionally with a brush to remove dust or, in case of more serious stains, wipe it with a damp cloth.
