All our maps, from start to finish, are crafted in our Gdańsk workshop from Polish plywood. Hand-polished, painted, and glued, each map has a hole for hanging. The hole is also located in the frame, which is unique to each individual map due to its upcycling method. We use old, decaying rural structures, old barracks, etc. This allows our frames to convey the history they hold, often etched into their surface.
The frame adds an additional 5-8 cm to the dimensions. Our frames are made from reclaimed wood (using the upcycling method), so each one is unique in terms of color and knot pattern.
We can engrave a dedication or other message on the map for an additional fee. Personalization takes 2 weeks to complete.
