Sopot received its city charter in 1901. It is a typical tourist destination, and its main attraction is undoubtedly the famous pier, the longest in Europe. It is 512 meters long and made of wood. Since 2005, the pier in Sopot has been named after John Paul II – a name given after Karol Wojtyła's two visits in 1987. The marina located next to the pier is so wide that it can accommodate as many as 100 vessels (40 boats up to 14 meters long or 60 yachts up to 10 meters long). This change occurred after renovations completed in 2011. In addition, Sopot is home to the Forest Opera (an amphitheater in the Oliwa Forest complex), which seats 5,047 people (seated), and 5,579 (standing) with a total capacity of 1,000. This is a great gift idea for travel enthusiasts and those who enjoy tourist-rich cities. Dimensions: width 50cm x length 60cm x thickness 1cm Made of: natural beech, golden oak, black
